The Bible Study group meets in the Church on Tuesday nights between 7.30pm and 9.00pm.
It’s a lively group who are in regular contact via a “WhatsApp” group throughout the week. Posting everything from building each other up with scriptures to prayer requests and encouraging each other in their walk with the Lord.
The evening consists of worship, prayer and studying the word of God, often using video links, all of which takes place over a cup of coffee or tea and a selection of biscuits.
Subjects covered in the past have included ‘Life Changing Prayer’, ‘When God’s Spirit moves’, ‘Esther,’ 'God is closer than you think' and the last one completed was 'Dangerous Faith'.
Learning together provides a deeper and personal insight into the Word of God as we share our thoughts and experiences. The studies enable us to see how the Spirit can move within our lives to guide and bless us as the body of Christ.
The group is led by Ray McGivern, ably assisted by his wife Gill.
Everybody is welcome to come and join with the group and Ray will answer any questions anyone might have.
